CRUISING GUIDES TO INNS AND TAVERNS

6TH EDITION
NOW IN ITS EIGHTEENTH YEAR!

The SIXTH edition of this highly acclaimed Guide is now available either as a booklet for £10.95 including p&p or as a downloadable .PDF for £4.99.

The ultimate handbook for all lovers of pubs situated close to the waters of the Norfolk Broads. Over 50 photographs (many in colour) and maps. Full details of moorings, river distances, cruising times, food, drink, trading times, descriptions, history and facilities for children, dogs and those with mobility problems. Just one of a series of the concise Guides that have, collectively, become known as:
"the ‘bible’ for all boating people".

Unlike the roadways of Britain there are no signposts on the waterways of the Norfolk Broads, one cannot travel after dark and it can take a fair while to "pull up at a pub".

For those who enjoy a decent drink and a good meal in congenial surroundings this river by river guide allows you to see at a glance the choices of venue open to you, the moorings available and the distances and times between your destination, wherever you may find yourself.

After several attempts to navigate my way via various maps and advertisements in an endeavour to discover the welcoming hostelry that must surely be round the next bend in the river, I wrote this Guide - if only to help others "in the same boat".

There are many changes in this edition. For the sake of new holiday makers, and because of numerous letters received, I have decided to include more detail for the routes and rivers which I trust everyone will benefit from. Over the years some of the pubs have closed down or been converted. I hope that the new pubs in this book (as well as those that remain) will bring you many happy hours.

"Have a marvellous holiday and good luck with steering your bedroom to the bar"!
